Safetalk utilizes Triple DES, the state-of-art encryption standard, to prevent eavesdropping. Eavesdroppers will intercept an unrecognizable buzz. Additionally, Safetalk provides secure options for users to input their own passwords. When a "secure conversation" is initiated, users can choose to key in their own random numbers and RSA will generate a different key for each conversation. This is similar to changing the lock each time a door is closed, and, hence, guarantees a high level of safety.
Safetalk incorporates a PSTN line interface and is easy to install. It's a plug-and-play single unit which can be used in both home and business environments. Once the secure mode is established, it is impossible for any third party to intercept the content because all of the voice data are encrypted and protected.
